Dembele-to-PSG saga brings latest conflicting reports from top sources
- According to Guillem Balague, Dembele is now willing to join the French team.
- As per Marcal Lorente from Mundo Deportivo, Barca won't sign Neymar.
- Lorente claims Ousmane is unwilling to join PSG.
Another day, another set of contradicting reports on the Neymar transfer saga.
According to BBC's Guillem Balague, a top source, Ousmane Dembele is now positive about being a part of a potential swap deal for Neymar. The alleged deal would see the 22-year-old join Paris Saint-Germain, alongside Ivan Rakitic and Jean-Clair Todibo. However, the winger is expected to only leave on a one-year loan.
"For first time, I've been told Dembele seems willing to be part of the deal," tweeted the BBC journalist.
"But as you know this changes every few hours," added Balague.
Meanwhile, Marcal Lorente, writer for Mundo Deportivo and usual guest on Barca TV, claims that Barcelona have dediced to stop the Neymar operation. According to him, the Catalans drop the pursuit because the Frenchman is unwilling to become a part of the swap deal.
Thus, with 72 hours left until the transfer window shuts, Blaugrana have made a final decision to not sign Neymar, as club's president Josep Maria Bartomeu believes is unreasonable to make a huge economic investment in the 27-year-old.
