Ter Stegen opens up on his decision to leave Germany for Barcelona
- The 27-year-old can't get past Neuer in German national team.
- Many believe it's because Ter Stegen left away from Bundesliga to play for Barca.
- Marc-Andre hardly regrets making this decision.
- Moreover, he's been nominated for FIFA Best Men's Goalkeeper award
Barca keeper doesn't think it relates in any way as he admits he has literally no regrets over joining Blaugrana:
"I don't regret it," our keeper said. "The experience of playing abroad has made me better."
Even if things don't go the way Marc-Andre ter Stegen would want them to in German national team, he excels for Barca. Marc-Andre has even entered top 3 nominees for FIFA Men's Goalkeeper award, and deservedly so.
The German goalkeeper had an impressive season in the Champions League, conceding only 9 times in 11 matches and claiming a total number of 6 clean sheets. In Barca's La Liga campaign, Marc-Andre kept 16 clean sheets in 35 games and conceded 32 goals.
