Valencia fire their coach ahead of Barcelona and Chelsea clashes
- Marcelino García Toral helped Valencia to top-4 finish last season.
- Club’s owner, Peter Lim sacked the coach amidst a growing internal crisis.
- Valencia play against Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Saturday.
Marcelino, who's been praised for helping the team to Top-4 finish, as well as Copa del Rey triumph Barcelona will never forget, has been handed marching orders.
The boss, however, has been having extremely strained relations with Club’s owner, Peter Lim who fired García Toral and appointed ex Spain Under-21s manager Albert Celades instead.
Despite winning the first trophy in 11 years for Los Che, Marcelino has been highly critical of Peter Lim and his decisions. This was becoming more and more evident in Marcelino's latest press-conferences and ended up in a disaster for Valencia who'll travel to face Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Saturday.
Points are up there for the grabs now.
