Coutinho shines as Brazil break their five-game winless streak
- Brazil beat South Korea, 3-0.
- The Bayern Munich star scored from a free-kick.
- This should come as a great relief for the 27-year-old who's having a difficult season with the Bundesliga outfit.
Barca's loanee to Bayern Munich scored an absolute screamer as Brazil beat South Korea, 3-0.
Philippe, who was finally handed a starting spot after spending several games on the bench, doubled Brazil's lead nine minutes before the break. The Brazil midfielder scored an absolute wonder of a free-kick, bending the ball into the top left corner of the goal, leaving South Korean keeper dazzled.
Brazil have thus ended their five-game winless streak ahead of the qualifying campaign that kicks off in March 2020.
This goal is expected to help Philippe find his feet - his loan to Bayern Munich isn't going very well as the Brazilian is still struggling to adapt at his new team.
Coutinho joined Bayern on a one-year loan in August. The 27-year-old has made 15 appearances across all competitions for the Bundesliga giants so far, contributing 2 goals and 4 assists.
Tite continues to trust Coutinho's magic:
