Cristiano in GORGEOUS throwback kit (art)
Initially, Juve's first kit was white with black shorts and socks, however, a pink shirt was introduced after the Bianconeri have changed the name to Juventus 'Football Club' to set themselves apart from the rest of the teams.
The pink shirts were used as the main kit till 1903 when, because of several circumstances, the club received black and white striped kits, instead of initially ordered classic ones. Nevertheless, Juventus never forgot their roots and often used pink shirts as away or alternative kits.
Thus, graphic designer James O'Mara has created a series of arts to underline football clubs' addiction to their retro kits. Here is Cristiano Ronaldo proudly wearing the 1997/98 pink shirt.
