Tuttosport: Juve might include Pjanic in Pogba deal
- Juventus are allegedly ready to use a valuable asset in Miralem Pjanic in any potential deal for Paul Pogba
According to Turin-based paper Tuttosport, which is normally regarded as not the most reliable source of information, however, are often on point in the Juventus-related news, Juventus never gave up an idea of making Paul Pogba's return come true. In fact, Barcelona are believed to be also keen despite signing Arturo Vidal, however, Juventus’ readiness to include Miralem Pjanic in a potential deal allegedly puts the Bianconeri ahead in the race. Jose Mourinho is believed to be a huge fan of the 28-year-old playmaker.
As per the information earlier provided by the same source, the Old Lady are ready to make the most of another fallout between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba. The Frenchman himself is allegedly eager to return to Turin, while Man United's boss Jose Mourinho couldn't be more disappointed at the midfielder's decision to spend the whole holiday amid the Red Devils' struggles.
Meanwhile, the report seems questionable because of the Pjanic part as, according to multiple reports in the Italian media, Juventus are reportedly set indeed to hand a new contract to Chelsea and Manchester City target Miralem Pjanic. Chelsea recently made an offer for him, with Manchester City, set to do the same soon. It's been believed that Pjanic is set to extend his stay at Juventus this summer and the club are now set to offer a new deal in the coming few days.
Pjanic's new deal is, in fact, expected, to keep him at the club till the summer of 2023 and he will receive a wage increase and will earn about 7 million euros a season too. The player's current deal expires in the summer of 2021.
