GdS: Real Madrid might go for Pjanic should Modric join Inter
- If the links which send Los Blancos' playmaker to the Serie A come true, the Bianconeri might receive an offer they could not resist for their Bosnian midfielder
As per a report in reputable Gazzetta dello Sport, Real Madrid are going to make a bid for Juve's Miralem Pjanic, if their playmaker Luka Modric does leave for Inter Milan in summer. Moreover, the source stress that while the Bosnian's desire is to stay at the club, his agent Fali Ramadani is pushing him to leave. The Old Lady won't let their star out for anything less than €100, however, Los Blancos are said to be ready to bring the 28-year-old at any cost.
If Pjanic actually leaves somehow, it would be a major surprise as, according to Rai Sport, the Bianconeri have already rejected FOUR offers for Miralem Pjanic this summer, including huge bids from Barcelona, Man City and Chelsea. As per the source, the Old Lady now consider the Bosnian unsellable and untouchable and want to renew his contract. Juventus have allegedly offered the 28-year-old a new 5-year deal worth 6.5m + bonuses per year.
Meanwhile, the rumours over Modric's Inter move have obviously evoked some vivid interest in the Italian football. Thus, ex-Genoa manager Ivan Juric even claimed the deal might be a more influential transfer than CR7's arrival in Turin: "It would be an extraordinary signing not only for Inter, who have already done enough but for all of Italian football, a blow that can have the same impact as Cristiano Ronaldo, if not more. Ronaldo is a fantastic finisher, he plays to score goals, but Modric creates the game, Modric is an artist."
