Agent: Pjaca is happy to leave Juventus for now
- Marko Pjaca's agent Marko Naletilic explains the delay in the announcement which would confirm the Croat's loan move to Fiorentina & claims the attacker would be happy to face a new challenge
Naletilic told FirenzeViola.it: "It’s true that negotiations have been protracted for some time. But at the end of the day, let’s say it’s part of the transfer market. All that matter is that everything worked out for the best. There’s nothing else to add that’s important. Pjaca really is very happy to be facing a new challenge. He knows the tradition and importance in Italian football of wearing the Fiorentina shirt."
Meanwhile, Goal reported Juve and Fiorentina reached an agreement for the Croatian attacker Marko Pjaca. The 23-year-old is expected to join La Viola on a paid loan worth €3m, with an option to buy at €22m this week. However, the Old Lady retain the right to buy Pjaca back for €26m.
Viola boss Stefano Pioli might have also confirmed the deal: "He has experience, he wasn’t at his best last season. Where there’s ability though we can improve everyone. And we’re waiting for what’s unofficial to become official."
Having arrived in Turin in 2016, Pjaca managed to feature in just 20 Juventus appearances since as well as enjoying a short 9-game loan spell at Schalke. A cruciate ligament problem prevented him from showing his best at Juve.
