3 Premier League clubs reportedly in talks over Sturaro
- Newcastle, Leicester & West Ham have started talks over a potential £18m move for the midfielder
According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle, Leicester and West Ham have all initiated negotiations with Juventus over midfielder Stefano Sturaro. The 25-year-old has not been successful at the Bianconeri and is eager to continue career somewhere else. Moreover, the Old Lady do not consider Sturaro a viable asset for the upcoming Serie A campaign.
The source indicate that Fiorentina, Genoa, and Frankfurt have enquired Juventus over the Italian, however, pulled out of the race due to the Bianconeri's high evaluation of the player: Sturaro is available for around £18m. The concerned Premier League sides do not seem bothered by the sum, which is excellent for Juve, who are still desperate to cover Cristiano Ronaldo's £100m arrival.
Sturaro's agent Carlo Volpi earlier provided pretty much the same information: "There are not only the big offers from West Ham and Leicester, but at least four other clubs are interested in my client. He does not have a favourite destination. Just wait for a decision by Juventus."
The 25-year-old isn't exactly highly rated in his homeland, with some Juventus fans rejoicing at the news of him potentially leaving Turin.
