Julio Cesar believes Inter can challenge Juve for the Scudetto
- Nerazzurri can win the league title but 'only in theory'
- Juve still far ahead of the rivals
Julio Ceasar said: "In recent years Juventus has been too strong for the other teams. They had competitive teams, first the Serie A was more hard-fought, now Juventus team is too far ahead of the others. Inter is, in theory, a formation that can fight for the Scudetto but we must not forget Napoli, another very strong team."
After Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival, not many fans in Italy believe anyone can stop Juventus from winning their 4th Scudetto in a raw. However, teams like Napoli, Inter, Milan and Roma had a busy summer as well and look set to at least try and challenge Bainconeri for the first spot.
Although Napoli, did not make any significant buys, Carlo Ancelotti's arrival should be something that concerns many Juve fans. The 59-year-old manager has won four major European leagues: Serie A, League 1, Bundesliga and the Premier League.
AC Milan have been strengthened by Gonzalo Higuain and Mattia Caldara's transfers but that wouldn't be enough for them to make a breakthrough. Inter, meanwhile, are living in the hope of getting Luka Modric and if the Croatian arrives that would surely put them as one of the main contenders for the Scudetto.
