OFFICIAL: Sturaro loaned to Sporting
- Stefano Sturaro will spend the next season at Sporting Lisbon
- The midfielder will remain at Juventus for some time due to his injury
Sporting CP have officially announced the signing of the 25-year-old Stefano Sturaro. The Italian joins the Portuguese side on a season-long loan.
The deal had been expected to be struck earlier today but was postponed due to some concerns during the medical.
The sides have agreed that Sturaro will remain in Turin for two months in order to rehabilitate at the expense of Juve. It was announced on the Sporting CP official website.
It has been also agreed that Juventus will pay Sturaro's salary for the time of the recuperation.
The player will arrive in Lisbon only when he is fully fit.
As it was reported earlier, Sporting will pay €2 million fee for the loan.
Stefano joined Juventus in 2014. He has made 64 appearances for the team, as well as scored 2 goals. It will be the second spell on loan while at Juventus for the player, as he made 13 caps for Genoa during the 2014-2015 season. Sturaro then was recalled from the loan in February.
