Marko Pjaca's agent insists the player wants to remain at Florence
- Marko Naletilic, Pjaca's agent has recently spoken to IlBianconero.com
- He denies the 23-year-old's potential transfer to Genoa
- Earlier it was reported Pjaca could be a part of the deal to swap Stefano Sturaro for Cristian Romero
"He feels good at Fiorentina, he likes the city, he has gotten used to the environment, his teammates, the coach and everything in the locker room. There is great confidence from Corvino and the whole management in him, he intends to repay the min the best way," Pjaca's agent Marko Naletilic told IlBianconero.com, refuting all rumours of Pjaca's possible switch to Genoa as part of Juve's effort yo bring in Cristian Romero
"I can absolutely deny any involvement of Pjaca far from Florence. He will remain at Fiorentina. There is nothing true, neither about a return to Juventus or a loan at Besiktas or another team. He will remain a Fiorentina player.
"In recent months he has had problems with his back, his physical issue has prevented him from being at the top of his form. I am convinced that it is only a matter of time before he explodes, he has too much quality to fail. He will have to overcome his psychological block but he is a strong boy and I am convinced he will succeed," the agent added.
Earlier, it was reported that that Genoa are looking to have Marko Pjaca for 2020/2021 campaign as an addition to Cristian Romero - Stefano Sturaro swap.
The 23-year-old Croatia international has been struggling for playing time at Fiorentina and managed but one goal and one assist in 16 Serie A outings.
The Viola paid €2m for the season-long loan deal with option to buy for a further €20m for Pjaca and the sides look set to negotiate a deal.
