“I want to see courage. We are going to Turin in order to pick up points,” said Chievo coach in his pre-match presser.

Verona club stood very close to causing a huge upset in the opening round, eventually capitulating 3-2 to the reigning champions, Juventus. Since then, however, Chievo have undergone several changes in the coaching department with the likes of Lorenzo D’Anna and Giampiero Ventura failing to live up to the expectations, until the club had to settle on Di Carlo in mid-November.
