- Dejan is linked with an exit from Liverpool this summer.
- His contract expires in 2021.
- AS Roma reportedly want to sign him instead of United's Chris Smalling.
- The latter is currently on loan at Roma but Lovren appears to be cheaper.
The Italians prefer the 30-year-old defender to Manchester United's Chris Smalling although the latter is currently on loan with Giallorossi. The reason is Lovren is 'more affordable', as per the report.
Dejan's contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2021 and he is yet to be offered a new deal. In all honesty, it looks really unlikely as the Croatia international is Klopp's fourth-choice.
This season, Lovren has registered only 14 outings and has been far from convincing.
Overall, the Croatian has made 184 appearances for Liverpool since his transfer from Southampton in 2014.
