- Carragher says that Liverpool's front three practically come as one package.
- Carra feels that the three are now in their 4th season together, which is more than normal in the Premier League.
- The trio are in their late 20s now, so they'll need to broken up fairly soon, explains the former Liverpool defender.
"When we talk about this Liverpool team, we talk about the front three. It's almost like they come as a package," Jamie Carragher said on Sky Sports.
"The reason I say that Liverpool's front three is unique is not that they are better than other front threes, it's how long they've stayed together.
"They are now in their fourth season and the great front threes in the Premier League have normally only been together for two or three years. We're maybe going to go into year five because they've all got two or three years left on their contracts.
"They are all getting to their late 20s and sooner or later that front three will have to be broken up.
"You can't, in two years' time, say 'we're going to buy a new front three' and replace them all. It will change over time."
Liverpool's famed front 3 first came together in 2017/18, the season that the Reds thrashed teams on their way to a Champions League final.
In the Premier League, these 3 have combined for 183 goals in 3.5 seasons.
However, Liverpool's forwards have struggled of late, failing to score in their last 3 games in the league.
