Liverpool fear the worst outcome as Adam Lallana suffers hamstring injury
The English international was forced off the pitch in the second half of the Crystal Palace
Just 5 minutes after entering the pitch Lallana was forced to leave it. After the game the Liverpool midfielder left Selhurst Park on crutches, with fear of yet another long-term injury looming.
Reds are almost certainly will be without Lallana on Wednesday against Man City and he is a doubt for the Merseyside derby on the weekend, too.
Longterm, he could be written off England’s World Cup squad, with just seven weeks left until Gareth Southgate's announcement date.
Jurgen Klopp's comments on Lallana injury's injury indicate a serious problem: “I’ve not spoken to him, but I’ve seen him and it is not good. We don’t know exactly what he has but from the first moment I saw him go down it looked like something really serious. It looks like something with the muscle, we can’t make any further assessments so far. We will do that as quick as possible.”
