Echo denies LFC resume interest in Alisson
Echo's Ian Doyle insists Reds 'have no immediate plans' for Alisson. He rejects Gazzetta dello Sport have informed that Liverpool have placed a £60m bid for the Brazilian, saying such suggestions are wide of the mark.
Our stance remains the same: no bid for the Roma keeper this summer.
Doyle confirms LFC interest in the Brazilian but states the club find a transfer 'difficult' given the price the Italian side demand for their star.
Roma do not want to let Alisson go on the chip. Salah deal (£36.9m) is still fresh in their memory and local chiefs don't want to repeat the same mistake.
Another problem is his desire to join Bernabeu over Anfield in summer.
Klopp 'is considering his goalkeeping options', though, with Simon Mignolet expected to leave Liverpool.
On Alisson, I get the feeling that Liverpool have been told he doesn't fancy moving to the Reds. If he did, there'd have been more of a push to get him.— Ste Hoare (@stehoare) July 12, 2018
