Done and dusted: Shaqiri reportedly agrees personal terms with LFC
Shaqiri's medical tests started before 9 am on Friday and if everything goes to plan there should be an official announcement in the next 24 hours.
He would become Jurgen Klopp's third summer signing following the arrival of Naby Keita and Fabinho.

The 26-year-old, whose involvement in the World Cup was ended at the last 16 stage by Sweden last week, is likely to make his Reds debut during the pre-season tour of America later this month.
Klopp has long since admired Shaqiri having come up against him in the Bundesliga. He won back-to-back league and German Cup doubles with Bayern Munich and was part of their squad which beat Klopp's Borussia Dortmund in the 2013 Champions League final.
