Bournemouth keeper Begovic reckons world-record fee LFC paid for Alisson is rational
- The ex-Chelsea shotstopper hails his Brazilian colleague and states that many other stoppers would be glad to reach Alisson's level
Liverpool broke world-record and paid £67m to secure services of the 25-year goalie from Roma. Asmir reckons the Brazilian's skillset ensures his success in the Premier League:
"I think goalkeepers are important to any team. We play a role and there is a certain value on that and Alisson is a world-class goalkeeper.
"A well-rounded goalkeeper is just as important. This is what managers and clubs look for - to be as complete as possible, to have as many skills as you can. I think that is what values those goalkeepers at that level.
"Of course, we all want to try and improve our games to try and get to that level and be as complete as possible."
Alisson will make his debut in Red T-shirt in a friendly clash on Saturday vs Napoli.
