Daily Mail: Pulisic not for sale this summer
- The German club won't let £60m-rated Pulisic go during this transfer window
- Though, they could agree to sell him in advance to avoid losing the 19-year-old on a free transfer
According to the Daily Mail, Borussia Dortmund will turn down all offers from potential suitors for the 19-year-old forward this summer. Pulisic has two years on his current deal with the German outfit as Chelsea and Bayern are said to be favourites in the race for the young star.
Jurgen Klopp is also known to be an admirer of the winger and could be keen to make an approach. The boss tried to sign the US international two years ago but Borussia refused to negotiate.
As per the report, the German side have tried to persuade their prized asset to re-sign but all efforts have gone in vain. They are desperate to avoid the Lewandowski situation. Robert was arguably the best player of Dortmund side a few years ago but the club failed to convince him to sign an extension. The Pole striker joined rivals Bayern on a free in 2014.
Thus, the Borussia's hierarchy might be poised to conclude a deal similar to the one Liverpool sealed with Leipzig over Naby Keita. The Reds paid a premium for his transfer, which actually happened a year after securing a move.
