LFC's ex-striker moves Hendo out of the starting line-up in favor of Aaron Ramsey
- While there are few players to pick from, Klopp is likely to go with Hendo as a starting player now that the midfielder is finally back in fold
- However, ex-LFC striker, Dean Saunders makes his choice in favor of Arsenal's Ramsey, who is NOT even in the Reds' squad
Liverpool are about to finish off their pre-season preparations in style, having won 6, drawn 1 and lost 1 game. While we have seen a number of different midfield options, now that The Skipper is finally back, Klopp is likely to puzzle over all the possible MF combinations.
However, Liverpool's ex-forward Dean Saunders is moving him out of the starting line-up - in favour of a player who won't be at Anfield.
After Liverpool were linked with a move for Aaron Ramsey, Saunders said: "When you first said it, my reaction was ‘it will make them stronger, having Ramsey in the squad.’
"He covers more ground than everyone almost every week, and he scores goals and makes goals; he’s a good footballer with a good brain.
"I think Aaron Ramsey will make Liverpool stronger. I think he’d be a great signing for Liverpool. If Liverpool sign him, they definitely get stronger. What a midfield that would be – Ramsey, Keita and Fabinho."
While our midfielder won't line up in every game in the upcoming season, but it is likely he will feature in plenty.
