Danny Ings, who recently joined Southampton on a loan, issued a message to his previous club, Liverpool, says the club website. It has words of gratitude to all members of the LFC family. Danny spent three years at Anfield that were mired by injuries. He scored three goals in fourteen appearances.
"I want to thank everybody at Liverpool FC for welcoming me into the family and being there for me through the tough and the good times. I wish you all the success in the future and I’ll miss you all. YNWA," the message says.
Earlier Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp made a very emotional statement concerning Danny Ings and his move to his hometown club, Southampton. "It is a very strange feeling saying goodbye to Danny. The biggest emotion is how much we will miss him," he said.
Danny Ings also spoke about LFC in his first interview to Southampton, praising the Reds for the opportunity to train and play with "the best players in the world."
