Mane reveals how everyone feels after Naby Keita stunning debut
- The Senegalese believes the 23-year-old midfielder was great against West Ham, however, is confident the Guinean will be getting only better in the games to come
Mane told the Reds' official website: "I’m happy for him. He played very, very well. Everybody was happy about the job he did for us. The beginning is not easy for new players, to learn about the guys. He will do better and better for us because he has great quality."

1 key pass
88% pass accuracy
1 aerial duels won
2/3 dribbles completed

Gini Wijnaldum also joined his teammate in Keita praise as the Dutch told Liverpool's official website: "Naby has a lot of qualities. He can dribble, he can provide assists, he can score goals. He showed it in Germany. He can keep the ball and give us - I don't want to say time to rest - time to keep the ball as a team. I think he can regain the ball, his counter-pressing is good. I think he's a good signing for us."
Jurgen Klopp was also totally delighted with his debut as the boss told Liverpool FC on Sunday: "So Naby is in because he's a really good footballer and I’ve said it from the beginning that he’s obviously settled really quick and has a similar style of play in a similar position as he did at Leipzig. He can play different positions of course, but I think No.8 is his best at the moment, so that’s all cool."
A great signing indeed. On Sunday, Keita was incredibly impressive in midfield pulling strings for the Reds in a 4-0 win vs the Hammers. The 23-year-old put on a show in both defensive and offensive components of the game being a bulldog on the pitch and distributing the ball flawlessly. No wonder, the Guinean was named the Man of the Match by the Reds.
