Ex-Chelsea captain hails 'offensive N’Golo Kante' Naby Keita
- Former Blues' midfielder & now Sky Sports' pundit Dennis Wise claims the Guinean is worth every cent paid & every minute waited for him
Wise told the Sky Sports: "Naby Keita was outstanding. He’s like an offensive N’Golo Kante going forward, breaking things up and getting on the end of things and making incisive passes. Klopp had to wait a year for him and couldn’t wait to get him in the building and I can see why."
On Sunday, Keita was incredibly impressive in midfield pulling strings for the Reds in a 4-0 win vs the Hammers. The 23-year-old put on a show in both defensive and offensive components of the game being a bulldog on the pitch and distributing the ball flawlessly. No wonder, the Guinean was named the Man of the Match by the Reds.
Sadio Mane, meanwhile, expressed the whole team's opinion on the newcomer as he told the Reds' official website: "I’m happy for him. He played very, very well. Everybody was happy about the job he did for us. The beginning is not easy for new players, to learn about the guys. He will do better and better for us because he has great quality."
Thus, Jurgen Klopp's side has begun the new Premier League season with an impressive 4-0 win over West Ham United by the help of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane for two times and Daniel Sturridge just after 24 seconds he puts the foot at on the pitch. Next week Liverpool will play against Crystal Palace.
