Ex-Premier League striker regrets not joining Liverpool: 'I might have had a career as Eto’o or Drogba'
Former Norwich and Hull City striker Dieudonne Mbokani, who now plays for Royal Antwerp, has claimed he could have played for Liverpool but chose Monaco instead. The forward now regrets his decision saying his career could have turned another way if he had chosen Anfield.
"When I played at Standard [Liege] I had the choice between Monaco and Liverpool," Mbokani told Het Nieuwsblad. "But that turned out badly.
"If I had gone to Liverpool I might have had a career as [Samuel] Eto’o or [Didier] Drogba. Because I felt that with my qualities I must not be inferior to those two."
