Carra full of praise towards Reds player policy following Trent & Robbo extensions
- On Saturday, Trent Alexander-Arnold became the 6th Liverpool first-team player since last April to sign a long-term deal with the club.
- Jamie Carragher is happy to see how his former side are establishing a bright future for years to come.
On Saturday, Liverpool officially confirmed Trent Alexander-Arnold signed a new long-term Liverpool deal. So did Andrew Robertson on Thursday. In fact, the lads followed in the footsteps of Joe Gomez, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Jordan Henderson who all have committed their future to Anfield since last April. Iconic Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher couldn't be more delighted at the club's policy as he told the Sky Sports:
"It's brilliant news. It's not just Trent it's Andy Robertson as well. I think if you think of Liverpool's best 11 or 12 players, all of them are under contract now for the next three or four years. This season, whether Liverpool win the league or not, there'll be a basis of a team going forward over the next three or four years that can be successful."
