Liverpool will face Portuguese top flight Porto in the Champions League quarter-finals. The first game, scheduled for April 16-17, will take place at Anfield.
The Reds faced Porto in the previous Champions League campaign at the last 16 knockout stage. The Portuguese side were smashed 5-0 on aggregate, with a hat-trick by Sadio Mane.
Here is how the other teams have been paired up.
Tottenham and Manchester City will make the only all-English CL quarter-final duo. Ajax will face Juventus and Manchester United will take on Barcelona.
Worth remembering that if the PL sides who win both the CL *and* EL finish outside the top four (lets say Man Utd 5th and Chelsea 6th) then 4th in PL (let's say Spurs) won't qualify for the CL. The maximum is five.— Michael Cox (@Zonal_Marking) March 15, 2019
If Liverpool beat Porto in the two-leg tie, they will face either Barcelona or Manchester United in the Champions League semi-finals.
Are you happy with the draw, Reds?
