Calciomercato: Brescia president will consider selling Liverpool-linked midfielder Tonali
- Massimo Cellino may let Sandro Tonali go despite his recent claims the midfielder is not going to leave.
- Liverpool, Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Roma were named among the clubs interested in the youngster.
According to Calciomercato, Brescia president Massimo Cellino will consider offers concerning 19-year-old midfielder Sandro Tonali despite his recent claims.
The youngster, who has been likened to Italian legend Andrea Pirlo, has played a crucial role in Brescia's promotion to Serie A this season. He is believed to be on wishlists of almost every Italian top flight and a host of clubs from other countries.
Among others, Tonali has been linked with Liverpool, Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Roma.
The asking price for the starlet is yet to be named.
On May 6, Massimo Cellino spoke about the starlet on Raio RAI.
"Tonali needs to grow, Brescia is the best place to do it," Cellino said. "To whom do I compare him? He reminds me of Falcao. A complete player, but a bit different. He has the cold blood of a killer, the smile of a child and is still 19 years old. He’s a nice surprise, a nice player.
"Sell him? It's so hard to find good players that I have no intention of giving anyone up to weaken the team. We will be back in Serie A after so many years, repeating the errors of the past would be a mistake."
