Diario Sport: Liverpool to pocket hefty sum following Coutinho's transfer to Bayern Munich
- Coutinho will join the Bavarians on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy.
- Bayern will have to pay around £110m for the Brazilian.
- Liverpool are due to receive £18m for the transfer since Barca have not paid them the whole transfer fee yet.
The Bavarians have confirmed the Brazilian will join them for a season-long loan with an option to buy for around £110million.
As per the report, Liverpool will receive £18m from the Catalans because La Liga giants are yet to pay off the £142m fee which was agreed when Coutinho left Anfield in January 2018.
Coutinho enjoyed a five-year spell at Anfield, with 54 goals in 201 appearances in the Reds' shirt. His stint at Barcelona was a total frustration - the Brazilian failed to settle and was regularly booed by Barca fans. Now he will be looking to restart his career in the Bundesliga.
