Firmino meets Mane in Brazil vs Senegal friendly - and bags a cheeky goal
- Brazil vs Senegal friendly in Singapore ended up in a 1-1 draw.
- Both Sadio and Bobby featured in starting line-ups.
- Firmino scored a beautiful chip early into the game.
- Mane had a few chances but couldn't finalize them.
Nine minutes into the game Bobby bagged a stunning opener. Gabriel Jesus' through pass set up the Reds' No.9 on the one-on-one encounter with Senegal's keeper. Firmino finished the episode cheekily and elegantly, much like he always does. A slight move, an exquisite chip over the shot-stopper - and inside the right-hand post goes the goal.
Sadio had several opportunities to find the net - he hit the post, he hit Ederson and was hit by Marquinhos in the penalty box. With AFCON penalty struggles in mind, he allowed Famara Diedhiou to step up who scored the equaliser late in the first half.
There was little that separated the sides in the second half so the 1-1 result seems fair. Bobby was benched 59 minutes into the game while Fabinho, who was called up by Tite as well, remained an unused sub.
