Ox and Lallana reportedly decline rest offer to focus on additional training
- Adam and Alex weren't included in England's squad for Euro 2020 qualifiers in October.
- The two Englishmen were offered to take a few days off.
- They refused, as they are aiming to impress Klopp with extensive training.
The two Englishmen, however, declined the opportunity as they want to undergo extensive training at Melwood to build up their fitness level.
Both Reds had their last season crumpled up by injuries and they both aim to impress Klopp in their strive for more or less regular first-team opportunities.
Here's a snap of the recent training at Melwood.
The two were omitted from England's squad to take part in October Euro 2020 qualifiers and therefore will remain at Merseyside for the upcoming 10 days.
Ox totalled 8 appearances at the beginning of the campaign with only 4 of them being starts. He was reported to had suffered a knock on the head before the clash against Leicester City last Saturday and therefore was left out of the squad. It's nothing serious, however.
Adam Lallana has been a bit less lucky with playing time so far with just 111 minutes of football in total. The 31-year-old's contract with Liverpool expires next summer, so his desire to prove his woth is particularly coherent.
