- Alejandro Moreno claims Liverpool could sell Mohamed Salah in the future.
- As per the 40-year-old, there is a player that could be far more influtential.
- It might be the right choice for the Reds.
Former MLS and Venezuela striker Alejandro Moreno believes that Liverpool could become better without Mohamed Salah in the future.
"I’m going to say you can do better than Mohamed Salah," the 40-year-old told ESPN. "There is a player out there that could be far more influential than Mohamed Salah if you make the right choice from here onto the future."
That's a questionable statement, to say the least, as Salah has been amazing for Liverpool ever since arriving at Anfield from Roma back in 2017 for an initial €42m fee that could rise to €50m.
The Egyptian has played 144 games for the Reds, scored 91 goals, registered 37 assists and helped Jurgen Klopp's crew win 3 trophies, including the Champions League last term.
Mo has been equally crucial for the team this season so far, scoring 20 goals and providing 9 assists in 40 games across all competitions.
