Hi and welcome to Selhurst Park where Liverpool are visiting Crystal Palace in a Premier League clash.
Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Gomez, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Milner, Keita, Salah, Mane, Firmino.
Crystal Palace XI: Hennessey, Wan-Bissaka, Van Aanholt, Tomkins, Sakho, Schlupp, McArthur, Milivojevic, Townsend, Zaha, Benteke.
Thisis the last game of the second matchday of the new season, and these two teams are the only ones who have not conceded any goals to this point.
Liverpool have won both meetings between the two sides last season, including a come-from-behind victory at Selhurst Park in March. The last time they failed to beat Palace at this venue was in November 2014. Interestingly, the Eagles came out on top three times at Anfield since then.
Crystal Palace are missing Scott Dann, Connor Wickham and Jonathan Williams. Ragnar Klavan, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are unavailable for the Reds.
Mo Salah's first attempt is blocked after a magnificient long pass from Mane.
Palace do not sit deep early, they know that safe is death against these Reds.
The Eagles, as usual from them, play stingy defence, not letting Jurgen Klopp's side get the ball inside.
Robertson slides the ball from the left flank but Hennessey covers it.
Again there's room on the left side of the penalty box but the Palace goalkeeper punches another cross clear.
Liverpool are dominating the play now but Palace manage not to concede any real scoring opportunities.
Mane tries to get around Wan-Bissaka but the last-ditch sliding tackle saves the day for the youngster.
Sakho's brutal turnover almost dooms his team but one of the defenders recovers to dispossess Salah.
Alexander-Arnold's delivery is claimed by Hennessey but then Mane and Wan-Bissaka crash into him. Just as the ball squeaks past the goal line, the whistle blows.
A long ball by Keita after a beautiful dribble near the Liverpool box but Salah's attempt at a lob goes over.
Townsend's long-rang dipper lands onto the crossbar! Huge chance for Palace against the run of play.
Liverpool's movement is positively dazzling. Keita looks like an excellent addition.
Keita's sharp-angle shot is saved by Hennessey. Liverpool keep on knocking.
Schlupp's drive skips wide of the post… Palace go for goal at every opportunity.
Zaha tried to get through the defence but a sublime tackle from Gomez stops him.
Robertson's half-volley from the edge of the box was not an easy shot and it goes well over the bar.
Palace have been much better over the last ten minutes.
Wan-Bissaka enters the box from the right but there's no one to receive his cross.
Mane's sneaky attempt to catch Hennessey expecting a cross goes over the bar.
The tempers are flaring a bit after Milner's tackle on Zaha. Both sides are very much in Michael Oliver's face at almost every stoppage.
And finally the first booking of the night as Van Aanholt retaliates for his star attacker and clatters into Milner.
PENALTY GIVEN! Salah turns Sakho and the former Liverpool defender trips him up.
GOOOAAAL!!! Milner beats Hennessey!
One minute added on.
HALF-TIME!!! A decent half for the Reds but they had nothing to show for it until the very end of the first 45. The goal changes the complexion of the game entirely as the Reds can get in the comfort zone of simply biting the opposition with speedy counter-attacks.
We're back underway!
Palace stick with three at the back but you'd have to thing Wan-Bissaka and Van Aanholt would be more adventurous as the game progresses. That could open up space for the Reds.
Townsend is wide open on the box but Wan-Bissaka's pass is just a touch off the intended target.
Schlupp slips one from the left but no one is there to connect.
At the other end, Liverpool get not one but two chances on the break. Salah can't direct the ball on goal and then Keita misses.
Wan-Bissaka loses the ball to Mane on Liverpool's side of the halfway line but then gets back to recover.
Zaha goes one-on-one against Alexander-Arnold and the youngster looked in trouble the whole time. A promising free kick for the Eagles and a booking for TAA.
Van Aanholt's rising shot rises a little bit too much.
Alisson parries Milivojevic's attempt away!
Benteke rises above everyone and produces a powering header! Alisson saves it but the flag's up. Zaha, who was screening the goalkeeper, was offside.
After that corner kick, Keita receives treatment.
Palaces have been the more aggressive side since the break, easily.
Alexander-Arnold's low cross deflects off Sakho and behind for a corner kick. Could very well have gone on goal though.
Salah's acrobatic shot goes off Schlupp and out of play.
Liverpool are pushing back after a good spell for the home side.
A cross from Alexander-Arnold hops right into Hennessey's hands.
Benteke receives the ball well, gets around Keita and just completely misses everything with the shot. That's so Benteke.
Henderson replaces Milner.
Liverpool have managed to re-establish ball possession, which is crucial as they defend this lead.
That's it for Benteke who is a little bit surprised by the decision to sub him off it looks like, he's replaced by Sorloth.
Zaha's shot through the mase of legs is saved calmly by Alisson.
Salah is away, Wan-Bissaka tries to stop him… and he's sent off!
An excellent free-kick opportunity for the Reds.
Salah takes it but Tomkins in the wall heads it behind for a corner kick.
Ward replaces Townsend to provide cover at right-back.
Liverpool are now camping out in the Palace box looking for another one.
Mane's attempt is saved by Hennessey.
The Selhurst Park crowd want a penalty as McArthur goes down but the ref says play on!
Max Meyer makes his Premier League debut as he replaces Schlupp.
Salah's header is saved by Hennessey! The Egyptian has been influential but so unlucky not to score.
Zaha's low cross pierces the six-yard box but the Reds escape unscathed!
Lallana replaces Keita.
Firmino is receiving treatment for a cramp.
Four minutes added on.
Ward turns Lallana and wins a free-kick on the right flank.
GOOOAAAL!!! A breakaway for Mane who makes no mistake as attempts to deny him the opportunity at a cost of a red card are unsuccessful!!!
Sturridge replaces Firmino.
FULL TIME!!! That's it! Two late goals (one in the first half, one in the second) are enough for the Reds to defeat Palace and become the only team in the league not to concede in their first two games!
