- Henderson's loan at Sheffield Utd expires at the end of the month.
- Manchester United are open to letting the goalkeeper finish the season with the Blades.
- Chris Wilder says that he's sure the Red Devils will do the right thing and allow the shot-stopper to stay.
Speaking to Yorkshire Live about the goalkeeper, the Blades' manager said: "From a contractual point of view, we are all looking to extend players that we have got who are on loan and from Man United's point of view we are coming into that time where they will make a decision on extending or not extending.
"I am very confident that Manchester United will let Dean stay with us until the end of the season. I don't think it's worth asking Dean what he wants to do, because you know the answer and vice versa, if it was roles reversed I wouldn't think it would be an issue.
"I have to respect that Dean is Manchester United's player and we have to respect whatever decision they make but if he goes back, he can't play. I am sure Dean wants to finish off an outstanding season that he has already had playing for Sheffield United."
Henderson's loan deal at Bramall Lane officially expires on May 31 but the Red Devils are said to be open to the idea of allowing the young goalkeeper to finish the campaign with the Blades.
The 2019/20 Premier League season could get back underway in the middle of June and finish sometime in late July due to the coronavirus pandemic.
