Spanish media slams Raiola for Pogba exit rumours: Barcelona never approached for Pogba
- Pogba's departure to La Liga champions was never a possibility
According to main Spanish sports newspaper Marca, Barcelona have NEVER approached Manchester United star Paul Pogba. Even though the Italian news outlet Calciomercato reported on an astronomical £350,000-a-week deal which had been 'agreed' with both Barca and Pogba, the newspaper strongly denies these rumours, as well as other speculations. "It was never a possibility", Marca prominent writer Luis F. Rojo firmly insists.
"The Catalan club fed the rumours in a strategy to wear down the English side, and the great beneficiaries were the player and his agent, Mino Raiola," he claims. Jose Mourinho and the sources within the club held the same opinion, blaming super agent Raiola for 'hawking' Pogba all around Europe.
Happy that Pogba exit was never supposed to happen?
