Paul Pogba reveals who else but Jose wanted him to become captain badly

- He insists Michael Carrick wanted him to undertake the responsibility
Pogba told MUTV: ''[Michael] Carrick came to talk to me and told me he wanted me to wear it because of the story, because of what I give to the club, what I give to the people, the fans, the young people in the academy. They look up to me.''

Explaining his choice, Jose Mourinho said on Friday before the game: ''[It's his] third season at the club and in the academy, [he] understands the culture of the club and [is] a good example today of putting himself forward and trying to help the team.''
