ESPN: Pogba set to be fit as injury-struck United prepare for Palace clash
- Pogba is likely to be available for selection on Saturday as well as Fellaini
- Martial, Lukaku and Rashford will be assessed ahead of the encounter
- Lindelof's health is another concern for the manager
According to ESPN sources, the 25-year-old midfielder is set to be ready for the home clash vs the Eagles. Fellaini is also likely to fully recover from the injury, who was left out of the Belgium squad for the international games in the Nations League.
However, Jose Mourinho faces a selection dilemma. The manager is still waiting for injury updates on a bunch of first-team players.
Luke Shaw will definitely miss the Saturday game due to a suspension. Pogba and Martial both pulled out of the France squad. Lukaku is yet to recover from a hamstring problem.
Victor Lindelof was subbed at the interval due to illness, playing for Sweden vs Turkey [1-0].
Marcus Rashford got a knock in a 2-1 vs Croatia and also was forced off the pitch.
Martial, Lukaku and Rashford will be assessed ahead of the encounter. Pogba and Fellaini are expected to be fit to play vs the Eagles.
Valencia is likely to be deployed on the flank instead of suspended Shaw. He hasn't been involved in action since the Champions League game vs Valencia [0-0], but was fully fit to play for Equador, scoring a goal in a 2-0 win on the international duty vs Peru.
ESPN add that the 33-year-old was available for selection vs Juventus [a 2-1 win] and Manchester City [a 3-1 loss], but Mourinho didn't pick him for those ties.
