Nemanja Matic chuffed about Marcus Rashford part in United squad
- Rashford helped United to beat Brighton 2-1.
- Matic considers the striker very important.
- The Serbian admits the Saturday's game was mostly under United's control bar last minutes.
Nemanja Matic was spectacular against Brighton in what was a hard-fought 2-1 win as he hopes to keep on building momentum.
He gave MUTV his thoughts: ''The end the last 10-15 minutes it was hard but I think we played good football today we created a lot of chances I think the manager is happy with first 75 minutes. They tried to use set pieces and they have big players up front and it was hard for us and we managed to control and get three points.
''In the Premier League it is always hard, you can’t always be sure to be in control of the game. They are very strong on set pieces they have two big guys we saw some of their games before which was enough to show where they can hurt us but we managed to control and win and I’m happy for our team and our fans and we will try to give our best to reach top four.

Speaking briefly of Rashford's goal, he added: ''Marcus is very important to the team, and when he’s in good form, he's one of the best players in the league. His goal is good for his confidence and I hope he continues.''
The likes of Lindelof, Matic and Rashford have been top notch since the arrival of Ole. Once a style is in place, the rest follows with ease.— Asif. 🇾🇪 (@Asif9707) January 19, 2019
He finally reflected on the top-4 race: ''We will give our best, the teams ahead of us will try to play Champions League next season but I’m sure we have enough quality to compete with them we will try to make our supporters happy and do our best.''
