United are looking to to offer the 21-year-old a new contract at the club which would make his wages rise from £75,000 to £150,000-per-week, according to the Mirror. The club's primary intention to extend the striker's current deal is understood to be their willingness to protect Rashford from Real Madrid and Juventus who are reportedly interested in the Three Lions forward.
Rashford's contract expires at the end of 2019/20 season and includes a one-year extension clause, however, considering the England international's recent form the club are eager to convince him to sign a new long-term contract.
