Mirror: Rashford to be offered new £78m deal
- The current £80,000-a-week deal runs out in 2020.
- United have a one-year extension option.
- The new contract will see the 21-year-old earn £15.8m-a-year until 2024.
Marcus Rashford reportedly is on the verge of committing his long-term future to Manchester United. The club have offered the 21-year-old forward a new 5-year deal which will see he earn an impressive £300,000-a-week, as per James Nursey of the Mirror, a UK tabloid.
The England international is currently on an £80,000-a-week contract which expires in the summer of 2020. Rashford himself has asked to put him on Wayne Rooney's £300,000-a-week terms that he was on until he joined Everton in 2017, as according to Nursey's report.

This term so far Rashford has taken part in 22 goals, 13 goals and 9 assists, in 39 games across all competitions and Solskjaer has recently claimed his desire to build his team around the 21-year-old and Paul Pogba.
"They are vital for our future," Solskjaer said earlier this month when asked whether Pogba and Rashford could sample his success with United. "Our aim as a club is to be achieving what we have done in the past.
"That is the expectation here and of course we are hoping to build a team strong enough worthy of the history of the club. You have got loads of players who you can build a team around."
