United fan Thomas Meunier resigned to leaving PSG with Premier League as preference
- Meunier sounds like he's bound to leave PSG.
- He's got many offers with Prem being the priority.
- Despite not playing much, he is still training hard.
Thomas Meunier has never hidden his admiration for Manchester United while our scouts reportedly have stacks of reports on the 27-year-old right back. The Belgian international is far from being among the most used players at PSG. He could leave before his contract expires in 2020.
Meunier told L'Avenier if there is interest in him: ''Of interest in particular from England? Yes, but not only there. It comes from everywhere. Even from China or the Middle East. A preference for the Premier League? I have never hidden it.''
He's been at PSG for three years and their mutual story is likely ending: ''There are some who live much more complicated seasons. I still have a year of contract here, what would it be like to make stories? I do play fewer games, but I continue to give myself thoroughly in training.
''Will I extend or leave? Good question. With the management, the discussions hang out a bit. I can understand, given the deadlines of the team, that my personal case was put in the freezer, but since nothing has moved so far, the message seems clear enough. It would annoy me a little that it ends like that, without having had the opportunity to finish in style.''
