Lukaku: 'Playing in Serie A is a dream'
- The Belgian hints at potential Serie A switch.
- Inter Milan, PSG and Bayern are said to be interested in him.
- At the moment he focused on United.
Romelu Lukaku joined the Theatre of Dreams in the summer of 2017. United splashed massive €84,7 million to lure the Everton striker at Old Trafford. Since then, Big Rom has scored 42 goals in 95 appearances in the Red Devils shirt.
However, the 25-year-old has rarely been considered as United's first-choice striker since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over the club in mid-December. Considering the fact that the €80 million striker is playing second fiddle to Marcus Rashford, Lukaku's summer exit looks like a done deal. And the Belgian sees himself playing in Italy one day.
"Playing in Serie A is a dream, it would be really a dream," Lukaku revealed, speaking on Sky Italia's Lords of Football.
"I hope to be able to play sooner or later, even if at the moment I am focused on the United."
According to The Telegraph, United consider selling Lukaku this summer if a right offer comes. Inter Milan, Paris St-Germain and Bayern Munich are named as possible destinations. These clubs have reportedly informed United about their intentions for the 25-year-old. The Serie A outfit are named as the most interested party.
