Claudio Marchisio: 'I never understood Pogba's decision to return to Manchester'
- The Zenit midfielder claims the Frenchman's return would be perfect for Juventus.
- The Italian can't explain why the 26-year-old came back to Old Trafford as he had already played there.
- It could have been better for him to move to Spain back in the days, the ex-Bianconeri concludes.
Last season, Claudio Marchisio left Juventus after spending 25 years in the club's system. The Italian nevertheless remained a Bianconeri.
Thus, the 33-year-old has discussed with Tuttosport how his former side could get stronger in the upcoming transfer window. And the midfielder mentions Paul Pogba's return in the first place:
"Looking at Juventus team, I think it lacks a player that can help the team offensively and Pogba would be the ideal player for that."
Paul pogba was our player of the year, the fact shaw got it was a fucking joke, if pogba leaves we are proper fucked but then at least people will realise how wrong they were— James Sheehan (@JamesSheehan19) May 15, 2019
All in all, the Frenchman's decision to return to Old Trafford back in the days is incomprehensible, Marchisio adds:
"I never understood his decision to return to Manchester, he had already been there. If he wanted to improve, it would have made so much sense for him to move in Spain."
