United alleged representatives spotted in Mexico talking to midfield gem's agent
- 2 men, identified as United officials, have been pictured during Monterrey vs Necaxa.
- The duo has been chatting with Carlos Rodriguez's agent.
- The 22-year-old has impressed this season.
- The holding midfielder might be considered an option to replace Herrera.
Alleged Manchester United officials were pictured at Estadio BBVA Bancomer during Monterrey's 1-0 defeat to Necaxa on Monday. The duo was chatting to Rayados midfielder Carlos Rodriguez's agent.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be following the 22-year-old's progress at the moment as the Red Devils need another defensive midfielder after announcing Ander Herrera's departure from Old Trafford in summer.
Rodriguez has been impressive this year. The starlet has proven himself as a strong holding midfielder with decent creative abilities as he has provided 4 assists on 14 Clausura games this season so far.
Furthermore, Carlos earned his first Mexico call-up back in March after helping Monterrey to win the Central and North American version of the Champions League earlier this year.
