Daniel James describes his playstyle
- The 21-year-old claims he's quite a direct player.
- The winger doesn't like to dribble at players - he likes to get the ball in behind and use his pace.
As it's been officially announced, Daniel James has joined Manchester United from Swansea City on a five-year contract with the option of a sixth for the reported fee of £15m plus £3m in add-ons.
The 21-year-old has sat down with Manutd.com in his first Q&A session for the Red Devils. Asked about his playstyle, the humble winger has revealed:
"I’d say I’m quite a direct player. I don’t just like to get the ball into feet and dribble at players; I like to get the ball in behind. I’m quite a pacy player."
'Quite a pacy player' definitely seems to be a sign of modesty from James. In fact, Ryan Giggs has claimed he has not seen anyone as quick as Daniel in his entire career.
