Transfer reminder: United can still sell players abroad
- The Premier League window shut down last Thursday.
- However, some players could still leave Old Trafford this month.
- Transfer windows in Germany, Spain, France and Italy remain open.
With the likes of Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian linked with an Old Trafford exit, it's important to remember that United can still sell players abroad.
As of last Thursday, Premier League clubs can no longer buy and register players until winter. However, they can still sell them to leagues where the transfer window remains open.
In Italy (Serie A), the transfer window closes on August 18, in France (Ligue 1), Spain (La Liga) and Germany (Bunndesliga) windows are shut on August 31.
This means the Red Devils still have the chance to get rid of the deadweight in order raise funds for the January window.
