McTominay reveals what he always says to parents after Man United rise
- Scott scored United's 2000th Premier League goal in October.
- He loved that special moment.
- It would have been impossible without graft.
- Hard work plus perfect timing gives you that as Scott has always told his parents.
Scott McTominay scored Man United's 2000th Premier League goal when the Reds beat Norwich in October. The fact it was Scott may be fate but he wouldn't be at this level without working hard. He makes sure his mum and dad know it.
"That felt good," Scott recalls speaking to MUTV. "That was special. We knew about it [United closing in on the milestone] before the game and I got reminded of it after the game as well and it was the just right place, right time.
"I’ve always said to my mum and my dad, your hard work always catches up with perfect timing. That was the perfect example of it."
The 22-year-old has scored two goals and made one assist in all competitions this season. He has indeed become more offensive as he often explores space going forward.
