Nemanja Matic 'considering his options' with European giants interested
- Matic has only made five appearances for United.
- He's been injured for a while but when fit, he was often benched.
- Serie A clubs and Borussia Dortmund could offer him an escape route.
Nemanja Matic could leave as early as in January as he feels underused. The 31-year-old central midfielder has general concerns over his squad role even though he's lately been injured.
Serbian newspaper Sata24, as cited by The Daily Mail, name the likes of Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus as candidates to land the unsettled player. So, the player is considering his options.
Matic has only featured in five games this season, only in two he played for 90 minutes. Even when he wasn't injured he was benched for a number of occasions.
He remains one of not so many remaining Jose Mourinho players in this squad. To Jose's pleasant surprise (as Mourinho once admitted), Matic joined in the summer of 2017 from Chelsea and his first season at Old Trafford remains his best.
Who would be ideal to replace Matic?
