Belarusian women's league players ask country's FA to verify gender of player; former coach claimed her to be man

Belarusian women's Premier League players have sent an open letter to the president of the country's FA Vladimir Bazanov in which they ask to verify the gender of Dinamo-BGU striker Salimata Simpore, according to Tribuna.com.
The 33-year-old's gender has been questioned after a number of complaints about Simpore's physical superiority over the league's other players.
What's more, the players who have shared the dressing room with Salimata before say that they have never seen her naked.
As per the source, the Burkinabe was confirmed to be a woman after she underwent a gender test in Africa a few years ago.
Still, Marcelo Frigherio, former head coach of the Equatorial Guinea women’s national team, previously claimed Simpore to be a man.
In their response, Belarusian FA said that Salimata won't be excluded from the competition as Salimata passed the certification ahead of the season.
