'Please, stop, you've won!': Rob Green reveals he once begged David Silva to stop scoring, Spaniard replied with City's 6th goal

"We (QPR) lost 6-0 at the Etihad - with half an hour to go I said 'I'm not gonna concede 10'," Robert Green told BBC 5 Live Sport.

"I started shouting at David Silva saying 'please, STOP, you've won the game!' and he turned round and said 'my friend, I'm sorry, you've got no chance'."

Man City beat Queens Park Rangers 6-0 at the Etihad Stadium on May 10, 2015, thank to goals from Aleksandar Kolarov, James Milner, Silva and Sergio Aguero's hat-trick. It was the Spaniard who netted the Citizens' 6th strike that day.

Silva, 34, is out of contract this summer and will leave City on a free transfer at the end of the season. He won 4 Premier League titles during his 10-year stay in Manchester.
